TV for the Week 07/31/2017 – 08/05/2017

Hello, to my fellow earthlings. Welcome to the newly created tv segment of Men vs. Movies. If you are wondering “Why would a website for movies have a tv section?” I honestly don’t know, I can’t answer that question but I can happily bring you reviews of our favourite tv shows and open your eyes to shows that may have missed you. I’m going to break down tv shows I will be watching this week and dropping a couple of reviews along the way.

Starting of with Sunday and its super packed, like why? The rest of the week is so boring, can’t they spread out the timetables, it’s so difficult to choose what to watch in limited time.

I will rank the shows in order of preference just to help you prioritize.

Sunday Night:

Rick and Morty

Finally, I can stop saying “wubba lubba dub dub”. I have received my help. So excited to watch the latest episodes of this show, it’s going to be a crazy season. Expect reviews of this and weekly content, there is nothing better than this show. Maybe we can finally get the schezwan sauce.

Lets get Scwifty all season!

Game of Thrones

Last week gave us another great episode of Game of Thrones , things are heating up in Westeros, We finally get to see Danny and John meet , I’m expecting a fantastic episode this Sunday .

Every week though the Game Of Thrones producers are like:

Teen Wolf

With the MTV show concluding this season might be a good time to check it out, I mean Buffy has taught us that the supernatural and high school can mix, not for everyone but it’s something good to watch as summer winds down.

The Strain

Call this a guilty pleasure. I started watching this 4 years ago, an adaptation of a book by Guillermo del Toro also produced by him I expected great things though did not live up to the hype , the show is ok to good at best and is lacking on the key horror element , ohhhh! did I mention it’s about a vampire outbreak in New York City?

Monday Night:

Preacher

I raved about this show last season, the creativity of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg was fantastic, it was just the way they did things. The show was presented with such finesse I was just amazing to watch. This season I have been let down a little, it seems like something is lacking a missing element.  It’s still great and though I missed the last episode I am hoping to catch up and hopefully feel the magic once more. I mean a preacher who has the power to control people , a vampire and a loose cannon girlfriend are the perfect roadtrip crew, so let’s see how this season ramps up.

American Dad

Just something to play in the background, I mean this show has survived 12 seasons for a reason!!!
