'Yellowstone's Beth and Rip are back in First Look at 'Dutton Ranch'
The Yellowstone television universe continues on, with ‘Y: Marshals’ streaming, and its sister-show about to ride into homes across the globe.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return as the indomitable Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in ‘Dutton Ranch,’ premiering globally on Paramount+ on Friday, May 15 with two episodes, and this time, they're taking on Texas. Hauser and Reilly are joined in the new original series by Academy Award nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening. As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together - far from the ghosts of Yellowstone - they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.
Alongside Hauser and Reilly, the new original drama series also stars Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind. Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the nine-episode first season marks the start of a new series in the Yellowstone universe.
The series tracks Beth and Rip’s move from Montana to a sprawling 7,000-acre Texas estate. Although they aim for a quiet life raising their ward, Carter (Little), they are soon met with harsh challenges. They are quickly drawn into a brutal turf war with a relentless rival dynasty. As survival comes at a high emotional cost, Beth’s fierce protective instincts and Rip’s deadly skills are put to the ultimate test. The teaser trailer is hard-edged and pulse pounding, with 50 Cent providing the music - perhaps reminding audiences that this is no longer Montana, and everything is bigger in Texas. Aside from Rip welcoming his bride to Texas, the only other lines uttered are by Beth, as she meets with Buella Jackson (Bening), a cunning rival to even Beth. The two seem to be in a terse showdown, sitting over a drink, and as we all know, that’s never means things are going to be quiet, especially with Beth.
