Marvel Debuts Trailer for Exciting Second Season of 'Daredevil: Born Again'

The highly anticipated second season brings back a few MCU favorites, and shows Matt Murdock is ready to paint it black.

Marvel Television has unveiled a new trailer, key art and stills for the highly anticipated second season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most intense street-level drama, streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning March 24. Across eight gripping episodes, survival, resistance and redemption collide as the battle for the soul of New York begins.

In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home.

Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, the series stars Charlie Cox as the titular masked vigilante (aka Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Returning to the series are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. This season also marks the long-awaited return of Krysten Ritter as fan-favorite Jessica Jones and introduces Matthew Lillard as the mysterious Mr. Charles.

The return of Jessica Jones was rumored for quite sometime, but with it, comes the hopes that all street level Marvel characters who had gritty Netflix shows may eventually see their way back under the umbrella of Disney, and officially part of the MCU. As of January 2026, Mike Colter has confirmed he has held conversations with Marvel Studios regarding a potential return as Luke Cage, stating he feels there is "unfinished business" with the character. While not officially announced for a specific project, his return is considered likely due to the revival of other Netflix characters in the MCU.

Disney seems not only fixed on bringing back the ‘Defenders’ characters, which would also include Finn Jones’ Iron Fist, but that same darker tone for which the shows were known. The trailer proves that quite literally as Daredevil is sporting his all black armor, perhaps indicating a much darker tone this season than ever seen before.

Season 2 of ‘Daredevil: born again’ premieres March 24, exclusively on Disney+
