Blood and Soil: Inside the Explosive New 'Dutton Ranch' Trailer

Yellowstone’ fans are left reeling after the exciting new footage drops ahead of the premiere.

The official trailer for the highly anticipated Yellowstone spin-off series, ‘Dutton Ranch’, has officially dropped ahead of its two-episode premiere on May 15, 2026. Shifting away from the familiar mountains of Montana, the new footage reveals fan-favourite couple Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) attempting to establish a fresh start on a 7,000-acre property in South Texas alongside their adopted son, Carter (Finn Little). However, the couple's hopes for a peaceful life are short-lived as they find themselves targeted by powerful local adversaries.

The core conflict of the series centers around an intense land dispute with a formidable neighboring ranch owner, Beulah Jackson, played by Academy Award nominee Annette Bening. Dubbed a "grizzly in Gucci" by Beth, Jackson delivers a chilling warning regarding her determination to protect her family's 190-year-old estate. Recognizing the newcomer's vulnerabilities, Jackson targets the couple's dark past, ominously noting that "people with secrets can be useful—corruptible, even," which prompts Rip to warn Beth to stay on high alert.

True to the signature high-stakes drama of the Yellowstone universe, the trailer quickly escalates from scenic ranching landscapes into chaotic violence, gunfights, and massive explosions. Fans are treated to glimpses of classic rugged action, including tactical firefights and an ominous tease of Rip recreating the franchise's infamous "train station" body disposal site, in a different Texan location. With the final lines of the trailer declaring that "peace will have to wait," the preview sets up an unforgiving battle for survival in the Lone Star State.

The highly anticipated Yellowstone sequel series, officially premieres on Friday, May 15, 2026, on both Paramount+ and the Paramount Network. This nine-episode drama was created by showrunner Chad Feehan with heavy oversight from franchise mastermind Taylor Sheridan, the series will rollout new episodes weekly every Friday through July 3, 2026.
