‘The King Tide’ will get under your skin by showing the failings of human nature, and how quickly people will exploit, abuse, and conspire in order to preserve the status quo. It is a horrifying thriller which will remain with you long after the end credits have finished rolling.

It’s been 12 years now since Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man dropped into theaters and downright disrupted the then-regulated flow of superhero movies. With the film returning to theaters this past week as the next one-up in a series of Spider-Movie re-releases, it seemed like a good opportunity to revisit the film.
Whether you are a fan of Action in Ballerina, Drama in Flightrisk, Horror in A Quiet Place: Day One or Comedy in the reboot for The Naked Gun, 2024 and beyond is sure to give us plenty of more movies to look forward in watching at our nearest cinemas. Looking back, it’s easy to see why ‘Godzilla v Kong’ paid off, but it’ll always be special to revisit that era for the MonsterVerse and movies as a whole.
