According to Smith himself, Revelation will pick up where the original 80s show left off. But while it will continue the old narrative, Smith made it clear that there will be updates and tweaks throughout. The story and artwork will also pay tribute to the extensive toy lines associated with the franchise, as you can see with the first released stills from the show.
