These two episodes feel refreshing tonally, and do give the audience things they haven’t seen from the show, and credit must be given there. Yet, many of the same problems with the season persist. The halfway point has been crossed, and the overall endgame does not feel pressing nor consequential, despite the numerous insistences otherwise.
